Dr. Gupta completed his undergraduate education and medical school through the Honors Program in Medical Education at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Gupta was also selected for residency training at Northwestern Memorial Hospital - McGaw Medical Center.
At WakeENT, Dr. Gupta specializes in diseases of the ear, nose and throat, including tumors of the head and neck. He has advanced training in minimally invasive surgical procedures including those involving the thyroid and the paranasal sinuses. As a general otolaryngologist, he cares for both children and adults.
Dr. Gupta is board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery and has been since 1998. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery. Dr. Gupta has served as the Department Chairman of Otolaryngology at the Dean Clinic in Madison, Wisconsin as well as Clinical Faculty at the University of Wisconsin. He is actively involved in technology advances in the field of head and neck surgery and serves as an expert consultant and advisor for medical device and pharmaceutical companies. He has also served as a thyroid surgery expert for the Supreme Court of Wisconsin.
Dr. Pankaj Gupta, M.D. was raised in West Central Illinois. Dr. Gupta lives in Cary with his wife and three daughters. His other interests include American History and Sea Kayaking.

Dr. Casey Polcari
Casey Polcari, AuD CCC-A received her B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Adelphi University in 2010 and completed her doctoral degree at the Long Island AuD Consortium (Hofstra, St. John’s, and Adelphi Universities) in 2015. She completed her fourth-year fellowship at Ear Nose & Throat Associates of New York. After completing her fourth-year fellowship Dr. Polcari moved to the Raleigh-Durham area.
Dr. Polcari is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and is board certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
Dr. Polcari has a passion for hearing health. With firsthand experience with hearing loss and hearing aid use, she enjoys guiding others on their journey to better hearing and seeing her patients reconnect with friends and loved ones.
In her spare time, Dr. Polcari likes to play music, be with her family, and enjoy the outdoors.
