Dr. Patz has her North Carolina audiology license from the NC State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists. She is currently a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (F-AAA), a member of the North Carolina Audiology Association (NCAA), and she has her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association. She is a certificate holder of Tinnitus Management (CH-TM) and received her Master's in Deaf Education to work as a Teacher of the Deaf for two years prior to obtaining her Doctorate in Audiology. Dr. Patz' areas of interest include comprehensive audiologic evaluations, aural habilitation and rehabilitation including auditory training, hearing aids and follow-up care, tinnitus assessment and treatment, and cochlear implants.
