The Most Common Sleep Apnea Signs
Most of the time those with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) experience loud and constant snoring. Your partner may also notice pauses in your breathing throughout the night. If you are a back sleeper your snoring will be louder than if you are on your side. Keep in mind that you don’t have to snore every night to have sleep apnea but it’s also important to know that not everyone who snores is suffering from this sleep disorder. Another obvious sign of sleep apnea is daytime exhaustion. While being tired at some point during the day isn’t that surprising for many people, sleep apnea sufferers will experience sleepiness to an extreme degree. They may find it very difficult to stay awake even while driving or working.
Other Sleep Apnea Symptoms
Even though snoring and daytime exhaustion are the two most common warning signs that you have sleep apnea, here are some other symptoms that you may experience if you suffer from this sleep disorder:
Poor concentration
Mood swings
Dry mouth or sore throat upon waking
Headaches in the morning
